Celebrate El Día de la Raza with the Latino Leadership Alliance
October 13, 2021 from 6:00 – 7:15 p.m.
About this Event
Join us as we host our annual Dia de la Raza event that honors the history of this day to our community along with celebrating our flagship LLA Leadership Academy, this year’s graduating Cohort XI and the completion of their class project.
This year’s Keynote Speaker is Gustavo Arellano, author of ‘Taco USA: How Mexican Food Conquered America’ and LA Times columnist.
Our event is free to attend and RSVP’s are required to receive the Zoom link. Donations can be made to our website or by texting ‘JUNTOSPALANTE’ to 44-321.
Each dollar raised goes into supporting this program – a leadership development program that centers around the Latino experience tailored to seasoned and mid-career professionals in business, education, government, and the nonprofit sectors.
Funds raised also go towards the organization’s vision that Latino’s will be fully represented in leadership roles and positions throughout the Bay Area as well as its mission to amplify the voice and expand the power of Latino leadership, engage in policy and advocacy, and build partnerships to focus on race equity affecting the Latino community.
